Just a preview of one of my new projects -- draped glass candle holders. I have a stainless steel mold (three actually, but I've only been using one so far) and I cover it with thin fire shelf paper. Fire on a small project, slump schedule to 1180-degrees. I haven't done any cold work on these yet (grinding the rough and sharp edges, for example), but I still think they are pretty. Anyway, just wanted to share these! Look for lots more in the future, especially since I just got some neat new diamond hand pads for grinding from His Glassworks (in Asheville -- www.hisglassworks.com)
